Necker Belle and Necker Nymph

Re-fit of a 110ft carbon-fibre catamaran, and acquisition of a bespoke wetsub.

Project Description

Marine capital projects operate within entirely different regulatory, safety, and supply frameworks than conventional real estate. The refit involved a 110-foot carbon-fibre catamaran, where specialist marine engineering, lightweight construction, bespoke interiors, and safety-critical systems had to be resolved within the physical limits of an existing vessel. Contract and process conflicts across specialized marine engineering teams in Australia added a further layer of commercial complexity, demanding strict oversight to ensure successful delivery. Alongside it, the acquisition of the bespoke Necker Nymph wetsub extended the brief into highly specialised equipment. Together, the projects required coordination across marine designers, fabricators, suppliers, and operators rather than a traditional building team.
