Privacy notice
How The Aquadro Office handles the personal information you share with us. Last updated 30 September 2026.
Who we are
The Aquadro Office is a trading name of The Aquadro Office Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 17416068. Registered office: Shadwell House, 65 Lower Green Road, Tunbridge Wells, TN4 8TW. We are the data controller for the information described here. Questions about this notice should go to Rob Aquadro at rob@theaquadrooffice.com.
What we collect
If you use the contact form we receive your name, your email address, the option you choose to describe your situation, and whatever you write in the message. If you email or call us instead, we hold whatever you choose to tell us in that correspondence. We do not ask for, and would rather you did not send, anything more sensitive than is needed to start a conversation.
The website itself collects only the technical information every website needs to work, such as your IP address and browser type. We do not run analytics or advertising tools on this site.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to arrange and hold an initial conversation, and, if we go on to work together, to carry out that work. The legal basis under UK GDPR is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us and in running the practice, and, where we enter into an engagement, the performance of that contract. We do not send marketing emails and we will not add you to a mailing list because you got in touch.
Who else sees it
We do not sell or share your information with anyone for their own purposes. The site and its contact form are hosted by Squarespace, whose servers are in the United States; Squarespace processes form submissions on our behalf under its data processing terms, which include the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. Our email is provided by a standard business email service. Beyond that, your details are seen only by Rob Aquadro and, where a project requires it and you have agreed, by professional advisers working with us on your matter.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within twelve months of our last contact. Where we work together, we keep project records for six years after the engagement ends, which is the period needed to deal with any professional or contractual matter that may arise.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our using it. Email rob@theaquadrooffice.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
Squarespace sets a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to function and to remember basic settings. These do not track you across other websites and do not need your consent. We do not currently use analytics, advertising or social media cookies. If that changes, this notice will be updated and a consent banner added.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
