Mont Rochelle Hotel and Vineyard

Refurbishment of a 26-key hotel following acquisition.

Project Description

Mont Rochelle was a fast-tracked, acquisition-led refurbishment in which the development programme had to quickly convert an existing 26-key heritage hotel and working vineyard estate into a property aligned with a new owner’s standards. The work required precise alignment between the development team and operational staff to determine where targeted investment would have the greatest impact across guestrooms, public areas, and the wider estate. With only a one-year programme, the challenge was to establish priorities, develop the design, and procure the works without losing sight of operational readiness. Delivery under a JBCC contract added a clear local framework for coordinating the professional team while protecting agricultural output and brand standards during the capital intervention.
